About AH4U
A Home 4 Us (AH4U) was founded with a simple belief: families should not have to reach a crisis before they receive the support they need.

Born from years of firsthand social work experience with children, individuals, and families navigating fragmented systems of care, AH4U was created to provide a more proactive, connected, and compassionate approach. We recognize that substance use, behavioral health needs, housing instability, trauma, and family separation are often interconnected—and addressing one without the others can leave individuals and families without a clear path forward.
Today, A Home 4 Us is building an integrated continuum of treatment, recovery, housing, and family stabilization services designed to meet people where they are and support them as they move toward healing, stability, and independence.

Through trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and family-centered care, we work to prevent crises whenever possible, strengthen and preserve families, support lasting recovery, increase housing stability, and build meaningful connections to community.

Rather than simply responding to crisis, we work to change what happens before, during, and after it.

Healing individuals. Strengthening families. Creating stability. Building a path home.

Create Pathways to Stable Housing
Prevent and reduce homelessness by connecting individuals, families, and young adults to safe housing, supportive services, and opportunities for long-term independence.
-
Strengthen & Preserve Families
Address substance use, housing instability, behavioral health needs, and other barriers that can lead to family separation while supporting safe preservation and reunification.
-
Empower Youth & Young Adults
Help young people build healthy relationships, strengthen social-emotional well-being, remain connected to supportive adults, and develop the skills and resources needed for successful adulthood.
-
Advance Equity & Community Connection
Reduce disparities in child welfare, behavioral health, treatment, and housing while strengthening cultural, family, and community connections for historically underserved individuals and families.
Our goal is simple: help people move from crisis to stability—and from stability to a future they can sustain.
Our Mission
To empower individuals and families through treatment, recovery, housing, and family-centered support—creating pathways to healing, stability, and lasting independence.
Our Vision
We envision an Alaska where every individual and family has the opportunity to heal, recover, and thrive—with a safe place to call home, strong connections to family and community, and the support needed to build a healthy, stable future.

A future where recovery is possible, families are strengthened, and everyone has a path home.
